Meet the author

Montserrat Lehner was born in Santa Marta a small town on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Very early in her life she fell in love with the colors, shapes and sounds of her tropical country. Passionate about nature Montserrat graduated from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota with a BS and dedicated her time to her passions : family, nature and art. She moved to the United States in 2000, where she currently lives with her family and teaches science. "The Legend of The Açaí " is her first book.
